The discipline of Painting from life has helped me to have a deeper connection to the world I surround myself in. It allows me precious time studying nature and capturing life in full bloom. It makes me feel happy to capture a vase of flowers in Paint with a Brush in rhythmical patterns of colours, lights, shadows and gestures. To have a subject emerge from the ground not unlike that of the flowers themselves.
