My Still-life Paintings capture the light and the essence of the world around me. Working in an Alla Prima technique in Oils I energetically work up a Painting in one sitting expressing my present moment in light and colour.
I Stage my still-life by working with symbols that reflect my values in living. I am a homebody at heart, and I feel inspired by the food I eat, the garden that I grow and my desire for second hand treasures. I love cooking and feeding bellies with love. I love having a beautiful home and garden. I value living with a light footprint. I believe that the practise of creativity supports my well being.
