The more layers I make, the more my stories are free to emerge. I make intuitive decisions by sculpting spontaneous chaotic brush marks into pleasing rhythms. As symbols appear a landscape emerges. I value listening to my inner workings. Removing words and translating in paint feels more honest, more trustworthy, less misinterpreted.
